How to Use the 4 or 19 Bar NutriCode for Various Medical and Health Conditions
The NutriCode has many health and performance uses. For example, an individual
with heart disease could use the NutriCode to track various fats, fiber and
calories. An individual with renal disease could use the NutriCode to track
protein, sodium and potassium. Diabetes sufferers could track carbohydrate,
protein, fat, sugar and fiber. Pregnant women could track carbohydrate, protein,
calcium and iron. For liver disease, an individual could track protein and sodium and those individuals on an anti-cancer program could track fat,
saturated fat, vitamins A and C and fiber. Each medical condition, disease or
health and fitness objective has its own unique nutritional dictates that can be
supported by the HealthKeeper and NutriCodes.
The NutriCode is currently available in 2 versions – the Basic 4 Bar and the Advanced 19 Bar versions. To use the NutriCode
properly it is important to know when to use the 4 or 19 bar view option. If you
are dieting, trying to lose or gain weight, use the easier 4 bar option. If you
have a medical condition such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, liver
disease, are pregnant or are using the HealthKeeper to improve your nutrition, use the
19 bar option.
