Special Printing for Menus, Brochures, Cookbooks, Overheads, etc.

The NutriCodes and the HealthKeeper software output can greatly ease and speed nutritional and health education. To print this information to menus, brochures, programs, cookbooks, overheads etc., use the following steps.

  1. Read the royalty-free terms for using any of the NutriCodes or HealthKeeper software output.

Click here to view these terms.

  1. Learn the 2 methods of printing these items, direct printing or indirect printing through another graphic program.

a. Direct printing from the various HealthKeeper print features will create basic menus, overheads, etc. For example, If you want to print out a menu of all or some of the recipes you entered, choose File images/HealthKeeper00090000.gif Print/Reports images/HealthKeeper00090000.gif Selected Recipe.

b. Indirect printing requires a graphics program with print conversion drivers. For example, Adobe Exchange 3.0 is what we use, which works perfectly. Once you have loaded the graphics program print drivers as a default printer in your printer dialog box, open your HealthKeeper and enter the Printer Setup item on the file menu.

c. Select the print conversion driver from your graphics program. Now every time you print any HealthKeeper output, it will be saved in a graphics format (not printed). By importing these new HealthKeeper graphics image files into your graphics program, you will be able to design and create complex menus, brochures, programs, overheads, even cookbooks, etc.
